Brangwyn Hall, Swansea

The Band travelled to the Brangwyn Hall on Saturday the 19th of March to compete at the Welsh Regional Championships.
The Band gave an excellent performance of Phillip Harper's The Mermaid of Zennor, under the baton of Lynne Turner. The Band gained an excellent 3rd place against tough opposition in the 2nd Section, this result gives the Band an excellent start to the year.

All the hard work leading up to the contest paid off with fantastic playing from all corners of the Band, skilfully shaped and put together by our professionalconductor Lynne Turner.
More good news was to follow with our Percussion team winning the Best Percussion Section, a brilliant achievement.

    4 Bars Rest

An evocative take on the Piscean love story - full of warmth, lyricism and no end of passion. Nobody has quite revelled in the middle section quite like this so far - and it came off so well. The final drive for the waves had that necessary building drama too - right to splash down.
